MTV Video Music Awards 2026（MTVビデオ・ミュージック・アワーズ 2026）は、MTVによる音楽授賞式で、カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルスのPeacockシアターで2026年9月27日に開催された[1]。CBSで生放送され、MTVでも同時放送。Paramount+でも配信された[2]。ホストはラッパーのスヌープ・ドッグが務めた[3]。2025年6月20日から2026年6月18日の間に発表されたミュージック・ビデオや楽曲が対象となる[4]。

マドンナがこの年の最多受賞（7部門）と最多ノミネート（13部門）を記録。最優秀ビデオ賞はテイラー・スウィフトの「ザ・フェイト・オブ・オフィーリア」に贈られ、ビデオ・ヴァンガード賞にはニルヴァーナが選ばれた[5]。

CBSとMTVでの放送はストリーミング視聴を除いても843万人の視聴者数を記録し、これは2015年以来最多の視聴者数である[6]。

パフォーマンス

9月16日、マドンナがオープニング・パフォーマーを務める事が発表された、マドンナがVMAでパフォーマンスするのは23年ぶりだった[7]。その他のパフォーマーは翌日に発表され[8]、ジョージ・マイケルへのトリビュート・パフォーマンスに参加する出演者は9月22日に発表された[9]。ケイシー・マスグレイヴスによるドリー・パートンへのトリビュート・パフォーマンスが行われる事は23日に発表された[10]。
